Tips for an Efficient Pep Rally!

Posted by Stumps Spirit on November 30, 2007

Pep Rally ScheduleUse this schedule to plan your Pep Rally. Remember, keep everyone on schedule so that you complete the whole program. Don’t let the “stage-hogs” get carried away!

1:50 p.m. Band performs school fight song and other upbeat music as students are entering the gym.
2:00 p.m. Emcee welcome. (Every school has a great class clown. Why not employ yours to entertain and emcee? The crowd will love it!)
2:05 p.m. Cheerleaders lead crowd in traditional chants.
2:15 p.m. Humorous skit / Class competition.
2:30 p.m. Introduction of players and cheerleaders – Acknowledge seniors – Coaches talk briefly.
2:45 p.m. Squad routine.
2:55 p.m. Class competition.
3:10 p.m. School fight song / Exit.

Be sure to keep things running on time. Students start to get antsy if they think they’ll miss the bus or be stuck at school late. Rehearse any elements of the pep rally necessary. Check out our tips for pep rally events and crowd involvement!
